Eid Charity Builds Islamic Centre in Indonesia

Doha, July 23 (QNA) - Sheikh Eid bin Mohammed Al Thani Charity Foundation (Eid Charity) has built an Islamic centre in Indonesia for a total cost of QAR 570 thousand. The centre is composed of a mosque with a capacity of 300 worshipers and place for teaching Islamic studies and culture. Eid Charity said in a statement that the centre helps in celebrating different religious occasions and encourages the people of the region to support religious activities. The construction of the centre and drilling a well in was done with the support of one of the donors, the statement said. Eid Charity has executed a number of relief, and development projects in Indonesia including mosques, Islamic centres, schools, and technical institutes. (QNA)
