Qatar Awqaf Ministry Honors Vice President of Cassation Court

Doha, July 22 (QNA) - The Ministry of Awqaf (Endowments) and Islamic Affairs has honored the Vice President of the Court of Cassation Dr. Thaqil bin Sayir Al-Shammari, appreciating his efforts in the judicial and advocacy areas and his various activities that serve Islam and Muslims. HE the Awqaf Minister Dr. Ghaith bin Mubarak Al-Kuwari presented the gift which was a model of Imam Muhammad bin Abdulwahab Mosque, a certificate of appreciation and wall painting to Dr. Al-Shammari. The Honoring ceremony, held as part of the Ministry's Ramadan activities, was attended by a number of religion scholars and officials from the ministry. Following the ceremony HE the Awqaf Minister launched the new electronic system of Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah Al Thani Public Library. (QNA)
