Swedish government voices readiness to help Yemen over disaster of flooding

SANA'A, Nov. 09 (Saba)- Head of the Middle East Circle at the Swedish Foreign
Ministry voiced on Sunday readiness of the Swedish government to offer assistance to
Yemen to tackle impacts of the flood, which hit Hadramout and al-Mahara governorates
last month.

During his meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs Abu Bakr al-Qirbi, the Swedish
official expressed sympathy of the Swedish government and people with Yemen on big
losses in souls and properties due to this disaster, affirming readiness of his
country to offer any kind of help to Yemen.

Al-Qirbi appreciated the Swedish soldiery with Yemen, pointing out to concern of
Yemen to enhance its ties with the Swedish people and extend fields of the
cooperation between the two countries.

In the meeting, they also discussed outcomes of the Yemeni- European dialogue which
was held last month in Sana'a.
