WHO evaluates floods' epidemics in Mahra

SANA'A, Nov. 09 (Saba)- Governor of Mahra Ali Khowdam met Sunday with World Health
Organization's expert Mohammad Malek for evaluating epidemic resulted in floods
catastrophe in the governorate.

In the meeting included a team from the ministry of health, the governor asserted
that the evaluation must include all affected areas and asked the team to take
necessary information from the epidemic surveillance center in the governorate.

For his part, WHO expert asserted importance of field visits to affected areas and
making sure of kinds of diseases resulted because of stagnant water and that the
center has to provide the team with all information, affirming the organization's
readiness to help the ministry for facing problems resulted by the floods.
