AFESD to keep on supporting Yemen's development

SANA'A, Nov. 09 (Saba) - Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) asserted on Sunday its keenness on continuing support the country's development process.

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul Karim al-Arhabi reviewed
here with the AFESD Technical Department Director Ahmed Othman the implementation
progress of the AFESD-funded projects in the capital of Sana'a.

The meeting also dealt with supporting the country's relief and reconstruction
efforts in the eastern governorates of Hadramout and Mahrah. The two sides agreed on
offering a priority list of the necessary projects that must be carried out soon to
be studied and then set up the arrangements for the implementation.

Al-Arhabi lauded the AFESD's contributions to enhancing development in the country,
valuing the Fund's initiative to sustain the relief and reconstruction efforts in
the eastern area.
