Parliament approves extension sum for 2008 budget
SANA'A, Nov. 09 (Saba)-The Parliament approved on its Sunday session an extension sum for 2008 budget at around YR 690 billion.
The decision of the parliament came after listening to the report of the financial
affairs committee at the parliament and commitment of the government represented by
the finance ministry to follow up recommendations of the parliament over expending
this sum.
The parliament recommended from the government to review allocations of fuel for the
civil and military government bodies.
It also asked the government to extend Aden and Marib refineries to increase their
production to meet growing demand for oil derivatives.
