Charity walk raises 6.1 billion VND for the poor
HCM City (VNA) - A charity walk which was held in Ho Chi Minh City on
November 9 raised 6.1 billion VND for the city's poor ahead of the Lunar New
Year Festival.
More than 10,000 people from 63 units and organisations joined the event
which was held by the Viet Nam Fatherland Front's HCM City branch,
with supports of local departments and agencies.
Apart from the charity purpose, the event also aims to mark the 78 th
anniversary of the National United Front's establishment day (Nov.
