Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation's road show in North Africa immensely successful

Dubai, Nov 9, 2008 (WAM) - The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation yesterday concluded its visit to Algiers closing a four-day tour of North Africa to promote two of its leading programmes, aimed at enabling Arab youth to pursue Master's degree in leading regional and international universities.
The road show, which covered Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria, is part of a wider pan-Arab tour of 14 countries to promote the Foundation's Pioneers and Fellows programmes.
The delegation will also visit Egypt, Sudan, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Yemen, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman before concluding the tour in the UAE.
The 'Fellows' programme enables aspiring Arabs to obtain postgraduate degrees in Business Administration (MBA), Public Administration (MPA), Public Policy (MPP) and Finance from top tier international universities. Equally important, the 'Pioneers' programme gives talented Arab youth the chance to acquire Master's degrees at leading universities in the Arab world.
Cairo will be the next stop for the Foundation's tour where delegates will meet with Egyptian youth, partners and other key stakeholders at Fairmont Heliopolis Hotel on 9 November. The delegation will then leave for the coastal city of Alexandria for similar meetings at Sheraton Al Muntazah on 10 November.
The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation aims to develop the knowledge and human capabilities and introduce a future generation of regional leaders. It aims to achieve its strategic objectives through a wide array of pioneering projects and programmes in three main strategic areas: knowledge and education, culture, and entrepreneurship.
