Yemen, KfW to sign five agreements soon

SANA'A, Nov. 08 (Saba) - Yemen and the German KfW is expected to
sign five financial contribution agreements in different fields.

For this purpose, a high-level KfW delegation is to visit Yemen on
Sunday, according to a press release from the German embassy SABA
got a copy on Saturday.

The agreements that will be signed are an agreement for financing
the Social Fund's program (stage V) worth € 17.5 million, an
agreement for financing the Project of Aden Sewerage amounting to €
2.45 million and an agreement of € 8 million to finance the
Secondary Education Development and Girls' Access Program (SEDGAP).

Moreover, the two sides will sign a supplemental agreement of € 20
million for financing the Provincial Towns Open Program (PTOP) and a
supplemental financing agreement for Provincial Towns Program II
(PTPII) in Ja'ar, Zinjibaar Component, amounting to € 4,781,677.
