President Saleh to visit Russia soon

SANA'A, Nov. 08 (Saba) - Well-informed sources said on Saturday that
President Ali Abdullah Saleh would pay soon an official visit to
Russia.

The state-run 26sep.net quoted the sources that Saleh's visit to the
Russian capital Moscow is in responding to an invitation from the
Russian President. The invitation was handed over by the Chairman of
the Russian Federation Council Sergei Mironovin during his visit to
Sana'a last month.

The sources pointed out that President Saleh's visit aims at further
strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries.

During his visit to Moscow, President Saleh is to hold talks with
his Russian counterpart Dmitri Medvedev and other senior officials
over the latest developments in region and international issues.

The sources mentioned that the celebrations of the 80th anniversary
of the Yemeni Russian relations and the first trade and friendship
agreement signed by the two countries.
