Qatar Expresses Deep Concern over Incidents in Egypt

Doha, July 08 (QNA) - The State of Qatar has expressed deep concern over the regrettable incidents that occurred Sunday evening in various parts of the Arab Republic of Egypt, resulting in the death and injury of dozens, a Foreign Ministry official source told Qatar News Agency (QNA). After offering condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, the source called on all the Egyptians to exercise self-restraint at this critical stage of Egypt's history, which requires cohesion, strengthening of national unity and finding early solutions after settling differences through dialogue in order to maintain the security, safety and stability of their country and to protect citizens. The source affirmed that the State of Qatar strongly condemns such regrettable incidents which lead to the taking of innocent lives, destabilization of security and stability and terrorizing of people. The source called for the renunciation of violence in all its forms and manifestations and for seeking a political, national and honouring solution to the crisis in Egypt, that preserves the civil and political rights of all and guarantees the protection of the achievements of the January 25 revol ution.
