Our Priority is to Upgrade Services Delivered to the Public - Justice Minister:
Doha, July 03 (QNA) - HE the Minister of Justice Dr. Hassan Lahdan Saqr Al Mohannadi said the priority of the ministry is to elevate the level of services delivered to citizens and residents and to achieve a quantum leap in this regard to implement the higher directives HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
This came during a tour HE the Minister of Justice made to a number of the ministry's service departments and facilities to get briefed by officials and staff on the progress of work.
During his tour, HE the Minister of Justice said HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani stressed in his instructions the importance of direct access to the progress of services provided by ministries, and the need to follow them up closely to identify all problems and obstacles and remedy them immediately.
He pointed out that the departments of Real Estate Registration and Authentication will be developed with modern technologies introduced to facilitate work, and to enable electronic access to them in order to render their services accessible to the public.
HE the Justice Minister meanwhile stressed the importance of preserving the original files and the confidentiality of information due to the sensitivity of the service undertaken by these departments which is related to the maintenance of the property and rights of citizens.
He added that preparations will be made for the organizing of a workshop on the real estate registration and documentation system to develop them with the view of achieving the goals and objectives of the Qatar National Vision 2030, and to provide services to the public in an easy and accessible way, as well as training young Qatari employees in the two departments on the use of the latest information technology used in this field.
HE Dr. Hassan bin Saqr Lahdan Al Mohanadi asserted that the ministry will work to confront all challenges and problems in the near future, hoping to achieve early results after moving to the new premises and to address the existing loopholes in order to accelerate the transition process.
He noted that such visits and meetings will continue and will be concluded by an expanded meeting with all ministry leaders to discuss working out a general visualization on how to develop methods and mechanisms of work at the ministry.(QNA)
