Saudi relief cargo plane arrives in Pakistan

Quetta, Pakistan, November 07, SPA -- A Saudi relief cargo plane,
part of an airlift ordered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques
King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to extend urgent assistance to
quake-hit people and areas in Pakistan, arrived at Quetta airport in
the Pakistani Province of Bluchestan today.

The plane, laden with 10 tons of foodstuffs, medical materials,
tents, and blankets, arrived in Quetta Samagli airbase.

Senior officials of the Ministry of Interior of Pakistan received the
consignments, thanking the Kingdom, led by the Custodian of the Two
Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for its assistance
to Pakistani people.

Later today, the Saudi relief delegation visited the relief center in
the city of Zalalat, severely hit by the quake, to evaluate the size
of damage inflicted by the disaster.

For his part, the center's coordination liaison officer
Suhailurrahman extended, in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency,
thanks to the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,
led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin
Abdulaziz Al Saud, for the great assistance extended to the victims
in Pakistan.
