Yemeni Foreign Minister Praises Smooth Transfer of Power in Qatar

Sana'a, June 27 (QNA) - Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr. Abu-Bakr Al-Qirbi has praised the smooth transfer of power in the State of Qatar, which was represented in HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani's decision to hand over the reins of power to his son HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. In a press statement today, the Yemeni Foreign Minister wished HH the Emir all success for the benefit of the State of Qatar and to continue the march of development and stability as well as to serve the Arab and Islamic countries in this critical stage. He also expressed confidence that Yemen will receive the attention and care of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani as the situation was under the rule of his father HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who gave Yemen a great interest in the Arab and regional political axes. Al-Qirbi noted to HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani's stances in supporting the unity of Yemen, hoping that the coming period will witness a development in bilateral relations and constructive cooperation between the two countries in various fields under the leadership of HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
