Aspire Academy and Messi Foundation Fight Malaria in Africa Through Football

Dakar, June 26 (QNA) - ASPIRE Academy for Sports Excellence has joined forces with Argentina and FC Barcelona star, Lionel Messi and the Lionel Messi Foundation, to combat malaria in Africa through football. Messi will pay a visit to M'Bour county which nearby the Senegalese capital Dakar and will distribute a number of bed nets to the number of children in the province to help the prevention of this disease (sheets) and he will hold a press conference. The Distribution of mosquito bed nets project will be in the presence of HE Director of Aspire Sheikh Faisal bin Ahmed Al Thani, the deputy Chairman of the Committee of football team Fahad Al Kawari, and Editor-in-Chief of Doha Stadium English Magazine Dr Ahmed Al Mohannadi and the financial Director of Aspire as well as director of international projects Dr. Andreas Bleicher. The inauguration of the project will be attended by Senegal's tourism minister Youssou N'Dour, the Senegalese sports minister Mbagnik Ndiaye, Senegalese Minister of Health Ahmadou Babatoura and general coordinator of the campaign against malaria in Senegal Ba and Ousmane Gaye governor of M'Bour County. This project is part of the Aspire Academy for humanitarian and social program under the slogan "Aspire Football Dreams", which is considered the largest program in the world looking for football talents in the continents of Africa, Latin America and Asia.
