Qatar Red Crescent Delegation Arrives in Sana'a

Sana'a, June 25 (QNA) - A delegation from Qatar Red Crescent arrived in Sana'a today, starting an official few-day visit to Yemen. The Secretary-General of the Qatar Red Crescent (QRC) Saleh Al Mohannadi, who heads the delegation, said during the visit QRC and the Ministry of Public Health and Population will sign an agreement to establish a center for dialysis in Lahj governorate worth of $4 million funded by the QRC. He added that the agreement will include the establishment of the center and providing the medical equipment as well as running for five years before being handed over to the Public Health Ministry. He added that establishment of the center comes within the support extended by the State of Qatar through Qatar Red Crescent to the Yemeni people.     Al Mohannadi added that an agreement to continue providing support for the treatment of the wounded will be signed with a Yemeni medical association.
