Minister of Education and Higher Education Issued Decision

Doha, June 24 (QNA) - HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Saad bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud who is Secretary General of the Supreme Education Council, issued today Resolution No. 22 of 2013, on the schools participating in the educational coupon system for scholastic year 2013/2014 numbering 57 School for boys and girls as well as co-education schools. The educational system aims, in its present and future stages, to build an integrated system that achieves the principles of diversity and choice between schools competing in maintaining its students by providing quality education through making educational coupons available for them. Over time, it will be possible for the parents of students eligible to government funded to use educational coupons in exchange for costs of school fees in schools of their choice - whether independent schools or private schools. Therefore, the educational coupon system would be the umbrella of the education system in the State of Qatar.(QNA)
