Al Sadd Win Aquatics Championship as Swimmers Dazzle

Doha, June 23 (QNA) - Al Sadd Sports Club swimmers blazed the pool at the Qatar Swimming Championships and propelled their club to title with an aggregate tally of 26,794 points. The championship concluded Saturday night at the Hamad Aquatic Center on Saturday. Al Ahli Sports Club came second with 16,377 points ahead of Al Rayyan who finished third with 16028 points. Qatar Swimming Association (QSA) Board member Ahmad Al Neama and Championship Technical Director Mohammad Al Fadhala presented the awards to the winners, a Qatar Olympic Committee report said today. Results:- 50m Backstroke (10 Years) 1, Ahmad Sami Mohammad (Al-Sadd). 50m Backstroke (11-12 Years) 1, Sherif Amor Al-Halafawi (Al-Ahli). 50m Backstroke (13-14 Years) 1, Mohamamd Abu Ghazala (Al-Sadd). 50m Backstroke (15-16 Years) 1, Jassim Ali Al-Baker (Al-Ahli).
