Vietnam beauty wins image award

Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnamese beauty Cao Thuy Duong, who is among 67 contestants competing at the 2008 Miss International Pageant, has won the title Miss International Image Award 2008.

Duong took the lead during the semi-final AND FINAL rounds of the
online vote for the pageant's International Image Award.

Duong got 26,776 votes, 19 percent of the total, while Miss Sri Lanka was
in second place with 19.993 votes and Miss Indonesia was in third place
with 19.892 votes, according to the official pageant website.

"I would like to say 'thank you' to every one, who has supported and voted
for me. The Miss International Image Award is really a wonderful
motivation, which helps me feel more confident for the final night on
Saturday. I'm so proud of being a Vietnamese citizen," Duong said after
winning the title.

In addition, Duong is also among the top 20 favourite beauties on the
website globalbeauties.com.
Last year, Vietnamese beauty Pham Thi Thuy Duong won the International
Image Award at the same pageant.

The 2008 Miss International Pageant's final round will take place in
Macau on November 8 night.-Enditem
