Ambassador to Sweden presents diplomatic credentials

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Sweden Mr Z.Altai presented Thursday his diplomatic credentials to His Highness Carl XVI Gustaf, the King of Sweden. At the meeting held after the ceremony, the Ambassador underlined that the Mongolia-Sweden friendly relations and cooperation have been developing. Mentioning that the 50th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic relations will be celebrated next year, Mr Altai invited His Highness to visit Mongolia. The Ambassador said the bilateral trade and economic relations have been expanding, for example, it the trade turnover reached USD 50 million by the year 2011. Mongolia wants to study experience of Sweden and to cooperate with Sweden in culture, art, education, renewable energy, green technologies and other sectors. In turn, His Highness conveyed his greeting to the Mongolian President, and then noted that the two countries have opportunities to widen the bilateral collaboration in many spheres.
