Eero Heiniluoma: We see Mongolia's intensive development

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A meeting ran Wednesday between the visiting Parliament Speaker of Finland Mr Eero Heiniluoma and the Ministry of Justice Kh.Temuujin in the "Kempisky" hotel. The high guest said that both those who had visited Mongolia before and those who are accompanying him here have seen a big developmental transformation of Mongolia, and added that he is glad to hear it. He also noted that the cooperation in the geological and mining sectors have been boosting, and emphasized mutual visits of the two Presidents can serve as the indication of expansion of our ties. Then he introduced to the Justice Minister his delegation, including Mr Lars Bakstrom, the Non-Resident Ambassador of Finland to Mongolia. In turn, Mr Temuujin said the reform of legal environment has been done for a long time in Mongolia since the democratic revolution, and that this process has intensified in times of approaching of the Presidential election. Before, the law enforcement bodies of Mongolia used to focus on ensuring the social order and the Armed Forces' regime, but now Mongolia is running the more human-centered reforms. The same day, the Vice Minister of Industry and Agriculture Mr Ts.Tuvaan and head of the Finland-Mongolia friendship group and member of parliament Ms Liisa Anttila shared views on developing the bilateral relations in agricultural sector.
