PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV VIEWS HEYDAR ALIYEV PARK IN ANKARA

Baku, 6 November,(AzerTAj)On November 6, President Ilham Aliyev viewed a park bearing the name of the nationwide leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev in Ankara.

Local residents and representatives of the general public who gathered here warmly
greeted the Azerbaijani leader and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva. They were carrying
portraits of the great sons of the Turkish world Heydar Aliyev and Ataturk.
The park whose total area is nearly 8 hectares was given the name of the nationwide
leader Heydar Aliyev this June.
There is a biography plaque for the nationwide leader at the park`s entrance. The
park has two modern-style fountains surrounded by about 11,000 flowers and 15,000
trees and children’s entertainment facilities.
President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva laid flowers at the imposing
monument to the great leader erected in the park.
