AFESD provides $100 mln to rebuild floods affected areas

SANA'A, Nov. 06 (Saba)- The Arab Fund for Economic and Social
Development (AFESD) has announced to provide $100 million to
participate in rebuilding areas destructed by floods in Hadramout
and al-Mahra.

During a meeting in Sana'a between the Yemeni government and donors
headed by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation
Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi, representative of AFESD Ahmed Othman
announced this financial allocation of the fund.

Al-Arhabi praised initiative of the fund, noting that it is highly
appreciated and indicated concern of AFESD to reinforce cooperation
relations with Yemen.
