PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV VISITS PRIMARY SCHOOL NAMED AFTER HEYDAR ALIYEV IN ANKARA
Baku, 6 November,(AzerTAj)On November 6, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited a primary school named after Heydar Aliyev in Batikent suburban area of Turkey`s capital, Ankara.
Students of the school, their parents and residents of the district warmly greeted
President Ilham Aliyev and first lady Mehriban Aliyeva.
They performed Turkish and Azeri traditional dances and songs.
The Azerbaijani leader and the first lady toured the school and got acquainted with
the education process.
President Ilham Aliyev signed a guestbook, wishing pupils every success for the
future.
The school having some 1440 pupils was given the name of the great leader Heydar
Aliyev on January 17, 2006.
