Singapore Deputy Premier Meets HE Qatari Ambassador

Singapore, June 04 (QNA) - Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister and Teo Chee Hean who is also the Coordinating Minister for National Security met here on Tuesday with HE Qatar's Ambassador to Singapore Rashid bin Ali Al-Khater, whose term of duty has expired. The Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for efforts made by HE the Qatari ambassador during his term of duty, for enhancing ties of joint cooperation bolstering and developing the political and economic relations between the two countries, wishing him more success in his future assignments and further growth and development for relations between the two countries. For his part, HE the Qatari Ambassador extended thanks to the Singaporean deputy prime minister and the officials concerned in the Singaporean government for the fruitful cooperation they showed during his term that helped in the success of his duties.
