OFFICIAL WELCOMING AT CANKAYA PALACE

Baku, 5 November,(AzerTAj)An official welcoming ceremony for President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev took place at the Cankaya Palace, a residence of the Turkish President in Ankara, on November 5.

A Guard of Honor was lined up in front of the Palace decorated with the national
flags of Turkey and Azerbaijan.
President of the Republic of Turkey Abdullah Gul warmly greeted his Azerbaijani
counterpart Ilham Aliyev.
An artillery volley was fired in honor of the Azerbaijan President.
A military orchestra performed the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Commander of the Honor Guard reported to the Azerbaijani leader.
The two Presidents inspected the Guard of Honor. President Ilham Aliyev greeted the
Turkish soldiers.
Officials of the Republic of Turkey were introduced to President Ilham Aliyev, while
members of the Azerbaijani delegation to President Abdullah Gul.
