Training Course on Human Rights Concludes

Doha, May 30 (QNA) - A training course organized by the National Human Rights Committee (NHRC),in cooperation with the Institute of Human Rights of Lyon, (IDHL) concluded here today. The two-day event discussed a number of human rights conventions relating the various segments of society such as children, women, disabled and workers. It also reviewed experiences in this regard topped by the Qatari and French experiences. The training session was being held within the framework of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the NHRC and the IDHL in 2010, according to which, the two sides would exchange programs of training courses, lectures and seminars in addition to further enhancing their common cooperation in this regard.
