Mongolia-Poland consultative meeting runs

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A regular meeting of the Mongolia-Poland consultative meeting between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs ran Wednesday in Warsaw, Poland. It was co-chaired by D.Gankhuyag, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, and by Mr Jerzy Pomianowski, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland. The parties concluded a present course of the bilateral relations and cooperation, shared views on directions and goals of the further cooperation. The Polish side congratulated Mongolia on successful organization of the 7th Ministerial Conference of the Community of Democracies (CoD) last month in Ulaanbaatar and on chairmanship of this Community. Moreover, Poland thanked Mongolia for sending its delegation to the high-level political meeting of the Proliferation Security Initiative (PSI) held in Warsaw. The sides expressed satisfaction with successful implementation of the state visit of Mongolian President to Poland and with official visit of the president of the Polish Senate to Mongolia, and underlined an importance of these actions in widening the bilateral relations and cooperation. In addition, the sides discussed issues of re-opening the Polish Embassy in Ulaanbaatar, organizing high-level visits in 2014, expanding the ties in trade, economics and investments sectors, intensifying the defense cooperation. They also exchanged international and regional cooperation issues.
