Qatar, Azerbaijan Draw 1-1 in International Friendly Match

Doha, May 29 (QNA) - Qatar's national team and its Azerbaijan' counterpart ended their international friendly match this evening at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium with draw 1-1. The match was part of the Qatari national team preparations for its important match against Iran's national side on June 4 in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers, Group B Khalfan Ibrahim Khalfan scored for Qatar in the 32nd minute from the penalty spot, while the Azerbaijan's team scored at 88 minutes. The Qatari side match with Azerbaijan's team was the second friendly after previously winning its match with Latvia's national team 3-1, its first friendly match last Friday.(QNA)
