BJP congratulates Obama, looks forward to warm relations

New Delhi, Nov 5 (PTI) The Bhartiya Janta Party (B.J.P.)
Wednesday congratulated Barack Obama on his election as the
U.S. President and said it looked forward for his illustrious
tenure and warm relations with India.

"We congratulate Barack Obama for being elected as the
44th President of the U.S.," B.J.P. Vice President Mukhtar
Abbas Naqvi told PTI.

"We look forward to an illustrious tenure and hope that
he will fulfill his election promise of a warm relations with
India," Naqvi said.

The B.J.P. is committed for all cooperation and believes
that the new American President will pursue a relation of
equality between the two large democracies in the world --
India and the U.S.

Democrat Obama clinched a landslide victory trouncing
rival Republican John McCain in the U.S. Presidential polls.
