Qatar-Singapore Joint Planning Forum

Doha, May 26 (QNA) - The Qatar-Singapore Joint Planning aimed at promoting bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the areas of planning and land- use planning will be held at the Doha Sheraton Resort & Convention Hotel on Monday. The forum will include presentations of urban authorities in both countries on the most important projects and businesses, the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning said in a statement . A Qatar-Singapore Joint Planning Forum was held in April 2010 according to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between State of Qatar (represented by the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning) and Republic of Singapore (represented by the Ministry of National Development) in March 2009. This MoU included areas of cooperation between the two sides in respect to strategies and legislative policies for using lands and urban planning, in addition to development of human resources. (QNA)
