JAKARTA SHARES GAIN IN EARLY TRADING WEDNESDAY

Jakarta, Nov. 5 (ANTARA) - The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) at the Indonesian Stock Exchange continued to gain in early trading on Wednesday.
The IHSG was up 32.714 points or 2.39 percent at 1,402.499 and the LQ45 index surged 8.328 points or 3.12 percent at 275.903.
The index gains were boosted by a surge in major shares such as Telkom which was up Rp250 to Rp5.650, BRI Bank added Rp275 percent to Rp3,825, the State Gas Company advanced Rp60 to Rp1,830, Antam increased Rp30 to Rp1,160 and the Bukit Asam Coal Mine surged Rp400 to Rp7,000.
The share price surges still dominated the market in early trading with 81 that managed to advance, 24 that lost, 30 that remained static, and 325 that were not yet actively traded.
PT Danareksa Sekuritas, a state-owned security company, in its day research analyzed that the surges were a continuation of the IHSG upward movement a day earlier when it gained 1.26 percent at 1,369.79.
The positive sentiment from regional bourses which was boosted by interest cuts, was believed to continue.
Meanwhile, the US bourse was still monitoring the result of the US presidential election closely which was expected to create a positive sentiment for the improvement of financial conditions.
Every movement in the US bourse was expected to affect the regional bourses.
Danareksa also said that the decline in the country's inflation rate and hopes that Bank Indonesia (BI) would lower its key interest rate had also helped the shares to gain.
