Qatar Sports Film Festival Opens Friday at Alriwaq

Doha, May 23 (QNA) - The top five short entries for the Qatar Sports Film Festival (QSFF) Short Film Contest will be screened on Friday at the Alriwaq within the precincts of the Museum of Islamic Art. The two-day sports film festival, organised by The Youth Company and Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, opens tomorrow at 5pm. The first of its kind film festival in the region is being held here under the patronage of the Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs. The aim of this film festival is to promote screen play writing and film-making in sports. (QNA)
