Australian FM Visits Hassad Food

Doha, May 21 (QNA) - Australian Foreign Minister Bob Carr and his accompanying delegation on Tuesday visited Hassad Food where they met with the company's Chairman Nasser Mohamed Al-Hajri. During the meeting, the guest delegation was briefed on Hassad's investment strategy and got acquainted with news of its projects in Australia in addition to the prospects of mutual cooperation in the fields of agriculture and livestock. Chairman of Hassad Food Al-Hajri said that Australia was the first destination for the company's overseas investments, adding that the Hassad's international strategy is based on long-term investments with common interest and returns to both parties. For his part, the Australian Minister expressed interest in the projects carried out by the Hassad Food in Australia, asserting his support for this investment, as well as for more future cooperation.
