Qatar, Burundi Sign Air Transport Agreement

Doha, May 19 (QNA) - The State of Qatar and the Republic of Burundi on Sunday inked the final signature on the air transport agreement (ATA) which was initialed in March 2010. The ATA allows the national carriers of both countries to operate 7 weekly passenger and cargo flights through any intermediate or beyond points of their respective territories. The Agreement was signed for the Qatari side by the Chairman of Civil Aviation Authority Abdulaziz Mohamed Al-Nuaimi, and for Burundi's side by the Minister of Transport, Public Works, and Equipment Deogratias Rurimunzu.
