TNI'S TOTAL ASSETS WORTH RP2.2 TRILLION
Jakarta, Nov 5 (ANTARA) - The total net assets of the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI) at the end of 2007 were recorded at a value of Rp2.2 trillion, the National Team for the Transfer of TNI Assets (Timnas PAB), said.
"The result of our verification indicated that TNI's assets were worth Rp1.3 trillion plus Rp1.8 trillion in TNI's foundations' assets minus TNI's obligation to pay a total of Rp1 trillion. So that the net assets of the TNI are worth Rp2.2 trillion," Timnas PAB chairman Erry Rijana Hardjapamekas said here on Tuesday.
He said his team had accomplished its tasks in making inventory, identification and classification of the whole TNI business activities.
The team has verified 23 units of TNI foundations with 53 limited liability companies (PT), he said.
Besides, there were also 1,098 cooperatives units with two PTs, he added.
