Al-Sharif meets delegations participating in U.S. Election Conference

WASHINGTON, Nov. 04 (Saba) - Chairman of the Supreme Commission of Election and
Referendum (SCER) Khaled al-Sharif met here on Tuesday with a number of heads,
secretary generals and representatives of the electoral delegations participating in
the International Conference of the U.S. presidency Election.

The meetings, that were held on the sideline of the Conference organized by the
International Foundation for Election Systems (IFES), aspects of cooperation between
SCER and those organizations, particularly in fields of training and skills exchange
in electoral fields.

The International Conference to be concluded Wednesday discusses several issues
concerning the democracy future, election supervision, how to prepare for electoral
campaign.

About 40 countries take part in the conference that was initiated in Washington Monday.
