Cairo conference on administrative development, reforms assessment in Arab World
SANA'A, Nov. 04 (Saba) - The 35th conference of administrative development aims to
discuss issues linked to administrative development and the strategy of
administrative transition and development in the Arab World, deputy minister of
Civil service said.
Upon departure, Nabil Shamsan said the conference, which will take place in Cairo
next Wednesday, will also assess administrative reforms in a number of world states
to compare them to those carried out in the Arab World.
At the conference, Yemen will present a work paper that will deal with the issues of
administrative development in Yemen and Yemen's experience of employment appointment
as well as administrative development issues and the transition strategy, Shamsan
said.
Such conferences provide the participants with the opportunity to exchange views and
experiences, review each country's strategies of administrative development that
help learning from each others' experiences, get acquainted with weaknesses faced by
these countries in addition to the opportunity to assess administrative reforms,
Shamsan added.
