GCC ministers recommend joining Yemen into Gulf Radio and TV body

DOHA, Qatar, Nov. 04 (Saba)-Ministers of Information in Gulf Cooperation Council GCC
recommended in the closing session of their meeting in Doha capital of Qatar on
Tuesday joining Yemen into Gulf Radio and Television Body.

In a statement to Saba, secretary general of GCC Abdul-Rahman al-Atyyah said that
the ministers agreed to send a recommendation to coming meeting the ministerial
council to approve accession of Yemen into this body in accordance with mechanism of
joining Yemen into certain Gulf corporations.

The coming meeting will be held in Oman by 25th November, 2008 to prepare for
upcoming Gulf summit.

Al-Atyyah considered such recommendation as step towards joining Yemen into new Gulf
corporations and enhancing cooperation between Gulf countries and Yemen.
