President inspects districts of Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Nov. 04 (Saba)-President Ali Abdullah Saleh paid visit on Tuesday to
several districts of Hodeidah province to inspect damages caused by heavy rains
which hit al-Salif, Kamaran, al-Munirah and al-Lohia districts.

President Selah listened to needs of the citizens in these districts.

During his visit to Kamaran Island, president said that he gave orders to finalize
project of electricity in the island as well as operation of desalination plant for
water. Citizens expressed their happiness for the visit of the president to the
island, saying such visit confirmed concern of the political leadership with the
issues of the citizens.
