WEEK OF TURKISH FILMS STARTED IN TURKIC SPEAKING COUNTRIES
Baku, 4 November,(AzerTAj)A week of Turkish films has being started in the Turkic speaking countries since October 22. The project is supported by Turkey’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Turkish Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA) and TURKSOY.
The aim of the project is to strengthen historical, cultural and social relations between the Middle Asia and the Turkic
speaking countries.
The films won prizes of international festivals in Cannes, Montpelier, Seoul,
Houston, Salonika and San-Sebastian.
Turkish films will be also demonstrated in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan,
Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
