Qatar, Morocco Sign a MoU on Setting up A New Premises for Higher Judiciary Institute in Morocco
Rabat, May 08 (QNA) -The State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Morocco have signed on a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on advertising and regulating the financial assistance Qatar will provide for the construction of the new headquarters of the Supreme Judicial Institute in Morocco.
The MoU was signed on behalf of the Qatari side by HE Massoud Mohamed Al Amri, the head of the Court of Cassation who is also the President of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) while it was signed for the Moroccan side, by Mustafa Al-Ramid, the Minister of Justice and Liberties and Nizar Baraka, the Minister of Economy and Finance of the Kingdom of Morocco.
The Institute is one of the oldest judicial institutes in the world, which will be held in basic training courses and specialized training for judges and lawyers of the Kingdom of Morocco and the other Arab countries.
HE the President of the Supreme Judicial Council is scheduled to meet during his current visit to Morocco with the First President of the Court of Cassation and Solicitor General of the king to the court to discuss the prospects of joint cooperation and coordination in the judicial and legal fields and to agree on annual joint cooperation programs in the areas of training of judges and agents of the judiciary and the exchange of visits and holding seminars at the level of judges of the Court of Cassation in the two countries.(QNA)
