Dribbling, tackling, shooting and passing were all part of the fun last weekend as youngsters and enthusiasts from across Doha participated in.
Children aged between 5 and 15 completed a series of skills tests designed to teach crucial footballing skills, including agility, accuracy, strength and goalkeeping. The budding footballers kept a record of each completed activity in their custom-made Passport to Passion passports.
Part of a five-session series, the third event will take place at Katara Beach this weekend (10-11 May). In keeping with the programmes objective to reach out to young people from across the country, the upcoming event will continue to help engage the local community in fun footballing activities and coaching sessions. Professional trainers will give participants tips on how to retain control of the ball and how to use their head to score goals.
