QOC Secretary General Meets UIPM President

DOHA, May 06 (QNA) - HE Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Secretary General of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) met here on Monday with President of the International Union of Modern Pentathlon (UIPM) Dr. Klaus Schormann. Talks during the meeting centered on ways of expanding cooperation between the Qatar Olympic Committee and the UIPM. Sheikh Saoud greeted the UIPM President, wishing him a good stay in Doha and stressed that the QOC is keen to cooperate and coordinate with the UIPM. Dr. Klaus Schormann applauded Qatar's comprehensive development in sports infrastructure and its ambitious strategy for development in all fields especially sport. The meeting was also attended by Mr. khaleel Ibrahim Al-Jabir, Director of Sports Affairs Department at the QOC. (QNA)
