HE Al-Attiyah Attends Reception Ceremony of Pittsburgh Climate Dialogue Meeting

Berlin, May 05 (QNA) - Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority, HE Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, who is also President of the Climate Change Conference (COP18), took part at the the reception ceremony of the fourth meeting of the Pittsburgh Climate Dialogue held in Berlin this evening in presence of Federal Environment Minister Peter Altmaier and Marcin Korolec, the Minister of the Environment of the Republic of Poland. In his speech during the reception, HE Al-Attiyah expressed his pleasure to participate in this event, praising the bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and Germany in all fields and their bilateral cooperation. For his part, the German Environment Minister hailed the fruitful efforts being exerted by HE Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, which contributed in the success of the COP 18, held in Doha last November. He also highly appreciated HE's wisdom and experience, which led to convince all the parties to reach a comprehensive agreement. Altmaier wished the Polish Environment Minister, who will chair COP 19, best of success in his mission. (QNA)
