KAHRAMAA Organizes Open Recruitment Day

Doha, April 28 (QNA) - Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) has called upon the shortlisted Qatari applicants to appear before the recruitment committee which is being organized from 24- 28th April. The specific drive is a part and parcel of the KAHRAMAAs participation at recently held Qatar Career Fair 2013. Based on preliminary screenings of the received applications, the shortlisted candidates have been placed under three major categories for their respective interviews matching with their qualifications, experience and requirements. All such applicants have already been informed by the Human Resource department of KAHRAMAA to come up further. The total 65 aspirants for scholarships have been interviewed first day by the selection panel of experts. The second day focused on the interviews of 31 job aspirants holding secondary or diploma educations. The last category of job applicants holding Bachelor or Master degrees were interviewed on Sunday 28th April by a panel consisting of experts across the departments. The total strength of this category is 75. The employment opportunities include technical, administrative, finance and business development- related positions. A large number of job- seekers had shown their interests in the field of Engineering. The employment open day comes within KAHRAMAA Qatarization program. KAHRAMAA pays great concern to the Qatari cadres. It believes in the investment in the human resources as per QNV 2030 and QNDS 2011 2016. It targets job Qatarization as per its objective of "Maximize the employment of capable Qatari nationals, and develop them to achieve a successful career path." (QNA)
