Fahad Al-Subaiey Appointed Hassad Food CEO

Doha, April 27 (QNA) - Hassad Food, Qatar's premier investor in the agriculture and livestock sectors, has on Saturday announced the appointment of Fahad Abdulla Turki Al-Subaiey as Chief Executive Officer, to be based in the company's Doha headquarters. Al-Subaiey has now taken over the overall global responsibility for the companys growth strategy, investment plans and operations, and will report directly to Hassad Food Chairman Nasser Al Hajri. "We are excited to have Fahad Al-Subaiey on board with us and I am confident that with his strong background and leadership experience, he will be able to drive the company towards achieving its vision in becoming a leading global provider of high quality food products," Al Hajri said in a press release issued here today . "The decision of the CEO appointment came as part of Hassad Food's new global business and corporate strategy, which was launched in January 2013," he added. Prior to his appointment, Al-Subaiey held multiple international roles and his last assignment was as executive director of gas and power at Qatar Petroleum International. "I am glad and very excited to take part in leading Hassad Food's mission and journey in owning, developing and operating efficient, profitable, and growth-orientated global business brands that contribute to the welfare of Qatar," Al-Subaiey said of his new post.
