Qatari Premier Discusses Syrian Crisis with Delegates of Three Permanent Members of UN Security Council

New York, April 22 (QNA) - Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani has discussed the crisis in Syria with permanent representatives of the three permanent members of the Security Council; the United States and Britain and France. The meeting held at the Seat of Qatar Mission to the United Nations in New York, discussed future steps for international action on the Syrian crisis, and the role that could be played by the UN Security Council by virtue of its responsibility for the maintaining international peace and security. The meeting also touched on the Arab draft resolution on Syria, to be submitted to the UN General Assembly, and ways to support and assist the National Coalition as a representative of the Syrian people and the forces of national revolution.(QNA)
