PM backs Zipping, Turnbull tips Mad Rush

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has backed Zipping for the Melbourne Cup.
Asked at a Brisbane media conference what horse he tipped for the cup, Mr Rudd named seventh-favourite Zipping.

"Why have I chosen Zipping? Because it's time to zip," Mr Rudd said, bringing an end
to the media conference.
