‘US DEPARTMENT OF STATE`S TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS REPORT ON AZERBAIJAN DOES NOT REFLECT THE REALITY’
Baku, 3 November,(AzerTAj)The US Department of State`s 2007 Trafficking in Persons Report on Azerbaijan does not reflect the reality, said Azerbaijan`s National Coordinator for Combating Human Trafficking, Deputy Internal Minister Vilayat Eyvazov.
He said while preparing the report the Department used facts provided by
organizations “which lacked experience in the human trafficking and were known for
their biased position.”
According to Eyvazov, these were some Non-Governmental Organizations and various
human rights activists.
